Funding Agencies
BTC has received significant funding from various agencies led by the U.S. Department of Defense and sub-agencies including the Army, the Navy, the Air Force, the Missile Defense Agency, DARPA, DTRA, the Department of Homeland Security and Socom.
Other U.S. agencies that have provided funding include NASA, the U.S. Department of Energy, NIH and the National Science Foundation.
A BIRD FOUNDATION AWARD WINNER: The BrimEX 001 comes about as the result of collaborative efforts stemming from a $1.6 million award provided by the BIRD Foundation (Israel-U.S. Bi-national Industrial Research and Development Foundation). It benefits from Maryland-based Brimrose’s long history of making AOTF-NIR hyperspectral imagers and Ness Ziona, Israel-based File X’s extraordinarily innovative software.
